Wow thanks..that 91 is directly over Brigantine!!!    So 70-80 gusts are possible!  I hope my roof mounted weather station holds up to give wind readings through entire event!

Yeah, that's too high. We're not going to get that kind of mixing down from that ridiculous jet up top. But we should see some legit wind. Some along the coast may be near hurricane strength.

I’m still rooting for the storm to produce its own cold air.

Personally I am thinking that Isaias will pass right over Norfolk, exit over the chesapeake bay inlet and rapidly intensify into a cat 5 as it shifts NW towards downtown Baltimore.

The Stafford hook is one of the best hooks I’ve seen in my area. Surprised they didn’t just pull the trigger on a TW.

First worry/banter post, but feel it's a worthy one.  Just bought a home in Alexandria with 6 100-year old/~100-foot tall Oaks in the back yard.  Starting to get sweaty palms and white knuckles over the thought of 5"-6" inches.

The 100 year age should tell you all you need to know.

(But watch yourself,  just in case)
