Nice little TS in Augusta about 2:30 PM - may have only affected the SE part of town but that's where my office is.  Nothing special but unexpected.   Not confident that the ground ever got wet at home.

12z GFS has a 1"+ event for Monday-Tuesday. Of course last week it had a 1"+ event for this Monday-Tuesday.  Some folks got even more - Westport Island (midcoast) reported 2.84" this morning while we had about 2.84 raindrops.

yeah..it's not just that day ...  The Euro was well above normal D3 to 10 save one dubious day that appears synoptically over-wrought in handling a boundary BUF-to Cape Cod D6 or 7 as it is... easily correctable.

The 00z was quite warm but not like this ...

GFS is on a different moon entirely over the GL D5-8 and since that is our source origin air mass ...

Not sure the back was really broken by this ... We had a cool back mid way through the last 4 weeks and this reminds me of that... I think we break in the first week of September this time ...

Or, the whole bb discussion is beef-witted and a waste of time - oh yeah, ..that

You are a sick man, my friend.  All About That Dew.

I'd prefer to just go big or go home.  Put up some all-time records like that May day in NNE this year, or else be comfortable.

To me 98/52 is meh. It’s hot but livable. Not memorable. But you’ll damn well remember the days that were 88/76 and you couldn’t cool off and got out of your car and the seat came right out with you as you stood up

lol

No one remembers the greatest dew days in history. 100+ temps is a different story. We throw the dates around from the top of our heads like the top snowstorms.
