I got 0.19" so far and the sun is back out, with temp up to 78.  NE Philly has been under a heavy blob for awhile that has been generating lots of lightning to boot!

On the northern edge of another blob here, coming down pretty good. Hanging out under a holy tent, lol.

Wow.  Someone in Elam, Delco reported about a station in Bethel Twp (south of you Kamu) getting 4.65" rain in 90 minutes! :o  I'm currently getting a little light rain at the moment (0.01" on top of my 0.19" for an event total of 0.20" so far).  Temp is 78 with a dp of 75, so a steam bath.

Yeah I said 1.5", think it was closer to 2" here. Elam is about 1/4 mile from here, I had to look it up the 1st time I saw it in a severe t'storm warning, lol.

Wound up with about 1.5" here. So this is how the water runoff is supposed to look, with everything just about restored from a couple of weeks ago. I put some piles of dirt out earlier, to rake in some gouged out spots for reseeding, but that won't happen today!

AM Low 66.6 on VP and 65.8 on Ambient - just missed heavier rains to my west and south last evening. While it's been 2x normal rainfall this month here...nowhere near the all-time wettest August of 17.81" back in 1955....however some spots to the south and west are already into double digit rainfall for the month!

Just tapped 90 today and that will probably be the high.  I did end up getting a bit more rain last night after 9 pm, adding an additional 0.09" in the bucket for a total yesterday of 0.29".

Currently down to 88 with a dp of 72.  Have been keeping an eye on the Laura track since it appears the cone has been really re-curving around to hit near our CWA (at least as of today - we still have the rest of the week to see the ultimate track for when the remnants are progged to arrive here).

I'm hoping she doesn't keep ticking westward -that will be devastating for Houston.  And Galveston.  It's going to be a bad one for a lot of people not to discount Louisana.  At least it is forecast to move and not hang around like Harvey did.

Not looking forward to more storms later.  At least if winds knock my power out again, it's a cold front from the northwest for a day of dew points in the 50s, won't need the AC

Radar doesn't look all that impressive. Thought I would see more intensity. Nothing more than showers to the W....still have time to fire up though.  88F / DP 70

Honestly I was expecting a much better radar presentation right now considering the watch. Been the summer of erratic broken line frontal passages.

NBC10 4pm top story was "severe weather"...then they show the radar and it's pretty much nothing/bare. lol. Now they are backing off completely. "You may see a popup shower or t-storm but I think we dodged a bullet" or something similar. Yeah, I don't see much out of this...5:23pm radar.

I had caught some snapshots of the radar yesterday afternoon and one around 6 pm seemed to illustrate what happened - the pop-ups were streaming far north and somewhat south of the CWA. It was almost completely clear in between.

Otherwise I did manage to hit 90 as a high yesterday and come this morning, the dews in the mid-upper 50s made this a polar opposite morning when compared to yesterday at this time.

Currently 68, after a low of 66, and mostly sunny
