Down here in the tropics, DP is 77, temp currently 89F.

My favorite line from the movie Biloxi Blues is when the Matthew Broderick character steps off the train and say, "It's hot. It's Africa hot."

I've been listening for cicadas, but nothing here yet.

Already 89F with a DP of 72. Short range models show storms firing up later today -- could be gully washers if you get under one.

From what I remember it's mid July+  before I hear them?

With the dreadful past warm winter I know tics are more abundant which is annoying. I'm always paranoid if I travel through high grass/woods going fishing if one of those bastards is clinging to me even after a shower...
