According to Zillow median home value is 82k..My house cost 182k..

Real estate is pretty cheap in Oswego county but many houses are old and require some work..

82k that is insane. That wouldn't get you a 1 bedroom in Hamburg

The median home value in Town of Hamburg is $195,565. Town of Hamburg home values have gone up 3.7% over the past year

Any nice 2 family houses up there? I'm looking for a house. Over here a 2 family house is 700k +.

3” here overnight. At 1:30 we only had about 1/2 that and it wasn’t snowing. And the driveway wasn’t covered. Guessing some lake effect accounted for the rest, and covered everything. Currently in and out of moderate snow with the sun trying to poke through. Recorded low was 22.7.

That one little streamer was legit....woke up to heavy snow. Now brilliant sunshine.

Parts of North Central PA and upstate NY are so crazy cheap. Sometimes you can get a nice little plot of land too.

I’m hoping to move to that area and keep my regional job.

Prices on the other side of border are just stupid. 500K is the cheapest house here.

Amazing pics from you guys in eastern NY.  Another day of frequent snow squalls here.  That's probably what amazes me most about this...I remember other snowfalls in May, it's not that uncommon.  But the sun comes out, snow melts quickly, and we jump back to spring.  This is legitimately locked in winter for 2+ days. No quick melt, no warming breeze.  Just...winter.

Well I may have a house up for sale by next year if anyone is interested:lol:

I looked into NE PA before I moved up here and I'm considering that area again, somewhere around tobyhanna/mount Pocono, elevation 1500-2000 asl.. Local spotter avgs about 70" a year which is perfectly fine with me lol Avg temps are similar to the big cities in upstate, cooler in the summers.. Cheap real estate. Within an 1 hr and a half from family and friends.

I also have the option to move back to NJ.. While the winters aren't great, they can get nailed with coastal storms.. Anthony knows all about the Monmouth county JP in that area lol
