That looks fairly new. I don't think those metal posts will support that thing acting as a sail.

Soft, wet ground too.

Glad we don’t live there . You never get wind.

I'm glad I don't live in the epicenter of wind damage in Connecticut.

Well the strongest winds are about 1-3 hours away depending on where you live in the region. The strongest winds will likely occur just ahead of the line as it approaches...this is when mixing will be the strongest. Also the LLJ is maximized just south of the region now and core will overspread southern areas soon.

Strongest winds of the region being observed in SE NJ where that break in the clouds is...that looks like it’s pushing NE. Thinking that’s the max of the wind event for whoever sees a break in the clouds and precip ahead of that line...

Head over the the lawn and garden thread, they'll get grass growing back there for ya.

Meh that’s the dogs area, they will get their crabgrass soon enough. Front yard is grassy. Winds cranking again, stuff flying around

SE NJ been getting some wild gusts. Looks like some more breaks trying to pop too just ahead of the line.

Yeah the Davis on Blue Hill is outperforming the ASOS by like 15mph on gusts....so there may be something wonky going on with it.
