Hopefully the antibodies work but what's good if someone has it the 2nd time ?

The good is that the 2nd time isn't as severe. Just like getting the flu vaccine and then contracting the flu virus. The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting it, it mitigates the symptoms.

What a tool the Florida governor is ..

I guess students will teach themselves..

He's also wrong that no one under the age of 25 had died..

Why is he a "tool"? He's not too far off. This is CLEARY much more deadly for post-school aged kids. And if you dig into the data for deaths under 25 or even 45, there are significant percentages of an existing condition. Now is it prudent to send kids back to school this current year? I'd say no, let them finish this year home-schooled and restart in Sept.

What about faculty?

"Experts" warn that kids can be carriers, what about parents, grand parents? They have to go home to somebody...

His reasoning is that kids aren't dying...

Kids spread germs like crazy, 1 kid gets it the entire school does..Then what happens? We shut down the school again to be sanitized lol

I totally agree. The bigger issue is the kids spreading it to their parents & grandparents. If we can get those 5-minute tests widely available by the summer, that would be a huge step in identifying the hot spots.

Amazing but sad statistics. It may not be appropriate to think this way, however, my instinct tells me you could increase the China numbers by a factor of 20 or more and still not be right. As always .....

100% that China's #'s are deliberately low. The Chinese government will pay heavily for the havoc they've caused - watch and see how the world turns on them after this is over. I hope their government fails and their people prosper.

Obama if you like your dr you can keep your dr. Lmao

Did you lose your doctor? I didn’t. I don’t know a single person who did. Obamacare has proven pretty successful and very popular. It slowed the increase in medical costs, it decreased the number of uninsured and it added sorely needed protections.
Your guy has tried for years to dismantle it without any framework for a replacement (hint: there isn’t one). Thankfully he’s been unsuccessful.

I would wager quite a bit Trump gets reelected so brace yourself for another 4 years. :(

What are you basing this on?  I’ve heard from people that voted for Trump last time that think they made a mistake.

I don't think I can vote for someone like this. You also cannot trust the polls as Trump defied all polls that showed Hilary up by 10+ pts a week before voting. The general idea I get is Trump is going to win in a landslide and I agree with them. I hate the democractic party for turning on Bernie, that alone makes me want to switch sides.

And this is too weird for me.

A majority of Democrats want to nominate New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden, according to poll results shared exclusively with The Post.

The national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden — a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample.

Deaths and new cases down in New York today.

Definitley a good thing but proceed with caution. If you look back the last 3 Sunday’s in a row have a drop off in cases and deaths because some states don’t report until Monday or Tuesday and that’s why you’ll sometime see a surge then too...

Albion twp still 1 of 6 communities that haven't had a confirmed case in Oswego county...

Social distancing is nothing new around here lol

It all comes down to population density, Oswego county for example has a pop density of 120 people per sq mile and only 42 cases out of 120,000 total population..

Erie county for example has a population density of almost 1000 per square mile and nearing 1600 cases out of 920,000 people.. Obviously they have a much higher infection rate..

NYC for example has 26k per square mile which is self explanatory why it's so bad down there..

I can’t see how someone with an approval rating around 45% can win in a landslide.  I could see him pulling this out of his ass again but a lot will depend on turnout and whether Bernie supporters would cut off their noses to spite their faces and either vote for Trump or not vote at all.  I don’t know if you’re  a Bernie Bro but just stop and think if you want another 4 years of a president that’s an embarrassment to the office.
