Boomer at 4am was nice. Great to see the cold wave this weekend has moderated and the forecast mid month chill has been reduced to only slightly below normal.

If correct, I don't see that as good news at all. Keep it cool for as long as possible. It's only early April and we know we'll get blow torched/ above normal at some point till/through Sept....no need to rush it.

repetitive GFS model  runs in the last few days  indicate wet snow possible next weekend  18-19th time frame. I know there is a cold bias with the GFS but with a deep cold pool LP sitting near us, I cannot discount a "tulip snowfall event" from happening.  It would be real ironic that the heaviest snowfall in three months occurs after Easter. Expect the unexpected.

Mesos look blah but I would put more credence in the SPC outlook than a computer generated model so yeah. Looks like 2 rounds of convection in SE PA.....first around lunchtime then another later this afternoon. Might even see a brief instability snow or hail squall early tomorrow North of the turnpike.

Instability and shear ahead of the front are plentiful (plenty of sun now too - up to 63F already with a 59 dew), and precip on the front is more organized now than the models predict.

Sortof meh.  Didn't see any lightning although heard a distant thunder earlier.  The line broke up around the hills here but can hear a roar to the east of me.  The temp is dropping and you can feel to cool air coming in.  Temp down to 65 and dropping with some rain.

ETA, temp down to 64 and continuing to drop.
