I would give this winter a D as well. No lake effect events, biggest storm was 10.3" in November. Pretty lame. It was close to an F actually due to lake effect events. But I have to save the F for 2011-2012 type winters. Finished the season at 79.3". The lowest since I've started recording in Hamburg in 2013-14

Nearly blew my neighbors fence down. Snapped two of the posts at the base of their 6 foot fence, actually watched it happen as the squall line blew through...raining so hard coupled with the near 70mph wind gust it almost looked like snow...

Who would have thought our biggest total would be before Thanksgiving?! Then again who'd thought we'd be quarantined to our homes before Easter...

April is the worst month of the year for me. It's why I try to make it my main travel month. 40s/windy/rain is literally the worst.

Agree, Mid March thru late April consistently has the most miserable weather of the year around here.  Which is pretty much the weather all year in the British Isles and northern continental Europe (Holland, No. Germany etc.).

I could not deal with weather conditions like that for the majority of the year. I am thankful for the 4 seasons we receieve, even if it appears winter might be losing its bite.

Euro...almost out in fantasy land...but i guess the key takeaway is that the next 7-10 days or so aren't  looking great, certainly not mild.  Which i guess, as long as we're in #coronapocalypse lockdown...at least we're not missing much outside...

Heading into Friday, the cold temperatures will remain across the
region. The surface low pressure system will be to our east allowing
for wrap around moisture on the backside of the low to be in our
region. This combined with the cyclonic flow will produce the next
chances of showers across the region. Some showers may even be lake
enhanced as low level temperatures are favorable, and with the
colder air mass dominating the region accumulating snows are
possible, especially in the higher terrain. Lake showers look to
diminish throughout the day on Saturday.

I mean we didn't have a white Christmas so why not a white Easter...
