Looks like the Canadian/GFS suite is going to be right for our area.

I think the RGEM from yesterday won this one, at least insofar as its radar depiction. Now, for sure it REALLY screwed up for many areas west with virga, but in terms of just how the sucker looked all day on radar, RGEM won.

This has been a weird event for Cumberland County (Crossville area)

What I've heard is

Generally 1-3 inches on the west end of the county

Only 1/4 inch or so in the north end

Up to 4 inches in the south end of the county

This is the opposite of most storms that hit here as usually the south end gets less snow. Wild system for sure

Earlier at the onset there was about a 2 degree spread (West/South colder)...kinda similar here...temps were that close to 32. Anywhere above 33 roughly, the snow melted in between waves.

I did not expect the radar to hold up this well for this long.  It keeps building, sort of like the hi-res models were suggesting earlier today.  I'm nickel and dimeing my way to a white yard!  Expectations exceeded for sure for a cold chasing moisture event.

Absolutely agree with this. If it holds serve we might squeeze an 1 or so out of it.
