12z for now is 7am when we move the clocks ahead in March it becomes a four hour difference again and 12Z then will be 8Am again.

Usually the north shore is about the same as the city in marginal setups, this one may be different, but too early to tell.

In this case it’s just where the low decides to sit and if this banding really happens. It’s an energetic upper air system so it’s possible. The low is too close to Suffolk County for too long so it takes quite a while for the rain snow line to move East out of the city.
