Rd I and 2 are north.

Gives me like 6". Don't expect 20", but jesus...

File this under the "rusty coat hanger file''.......best part is now some self-righteous, holier than now weenie will lecture me about how I should cherish the 6" of snow, and rejoice that West Deerscrotum, Maine will be able to open an extra ski lift.

Probably you get your 15 to 17 and complain because someone else got 21

Does anyone else think this looks a little like Recaptha letters?

Those winter weather advisories do not make any sense to me. How do you have near 12" as the end of the range, and damage to trees and power lines from 0.1'"-0.25" of ice.  How is all that only an advisory. Unless it's due to duration and not meeting criteria in 24 hrs.

I’m still not sold on a euro solution.

Apparently BOX isn't either.  The current GFS (and let's ignore the 06 NAM) and I think ICON runs show snow totals that warrant their current advisories pretty well  for a 24" hour event totals.

On the other hand, they have Worcester getting 8-12 on their most likely map, yet have it as an advisory.  Perhaps that's just due to ORH being located in the southern Worcester zone.

Either way--give me a Euro solution with a side of RGEM, please.

EDIT:  I just realized they dropped the watch for here and have put up a WWA with 8-13" of snow.   lol.

Long duration 8-13” limiting the impacts warrants the WWA and not a WSW?

I believe 8" is the threshold on that.

End of the day, I don't give a crap about that.  It's the totals that count.  What's bizarre is that they're forecasting warning amounts.

As an aside, looks like flights out of BOS won't be an issue on Tuesday late morning.  Driving to Logan on the other hands.....
