Not surprising, but the GFS and GGEM are tempering the post-frontal cold next weekend. Still looks like by far the coolest airmass of the season, but more 40s then upper 30s. Both have another storm around D10 which brings another cooler airmass the following week.

Thanks for addressing this. Frankly, that was a disingenuous post by yoda...and I don’t think he’s unaware of that.

That was an odd post. He clearly likes to read the AFDs. I mean, he sure posts enough of them. Yet we also know he looks at the guidance regularly. Also, 15-20 degrees above normal next week? like all of next week? I didn't read it but hard to believe that's what it said. Not sure what he was doing there.

With a nice little rainfall a few days earlier. Unprecedented stuff.

Pretty big change to how the GFS depicted the front next week. Rides a strong wave along it Thursday-Friday to give us a healthy rain. GGEM didnt change. I’m not biting on that yet.

Gfs showing a coastal day 11 . That would hit the spot for many here:raining:

Some indications that we might get more active rainfall-wise from several weather developments, some from the Atlantic side and some from Asia/Pac  side.

Not to mention much cooler air to go with the rainfall.

0z GFS develops a low along the front Thurs-Fri and gives the area some rain. CMC has initial energy to the north, then has some weaker activity the front to our south next weekend.  We get nada. I favor that sort of solution lol.

6z more like that cmc solution. It’s been bouncing around. Haven’t checked Euro. Gfs bullish for rain the following week. Temps this upcoming weekend look chilly.

Just looked at the 0z Euro on weather.us. Same deal with the late week front. Some good rains to our north, and nothing here.
