No white-faced hornet would pursue even a quarter as far.

Funny you say that because there's a youtube video of a couple of knuckleheads on a boat who did a drive-by whacking of one of those (BFH) nests, they were stung.. Then, even after well beyond the nest and thinking they were safe, were attacked and stung out of nowhere again. I really think it is just the aggressive and relentless nature of the family of wasp

Still 100% overcast here.  Watching Boston news and they have some clearing

Was a beautiful afternoon up this way.

Temp is going to plummet tonight if winds go calm.

Heavy heavy autumn feel. It’s time. Beach bum scooter is away until Mem day 2020. Been upper 50s all day.

Just in time for next week ...heh.. .

Yeah I dunno though... I'm not a big fan of that huge warm up and haven't been anyway.   we'll see..

How is the weekend looking? Flying in tomorrow; looks cool tomorrow but warm up for the remaining days.

Just free falling temps this evening.

Sun this afternoon bumped us up to a high of 67F.... then the sun went down.

Now 47F and falling and continuing downward.  Might make upper 30s tonight.

Same here. P&C went from 39 to 32 so if it radiates well we may get colder than 2 days ago. We'll see! Plants are inside so no worries there.

Down to 44F.  Lots of 42-45F already showing up scattered around in the PWS network.

Was just outside with the dog for her last time out, and brrr that felt chilly.

37F at 5:30am.

Brrrr.  First 30s of the season.

SLK at 30F, HIE at 35F.  Alex probably seeing another freeze.

41° at MPV but I saw 37° when I got on the interstate at Exit 6 on 89.  It was clear there but foggy elsewhere
