Stephen's City in the crosshairs...NPZ gonna be happy.

It's really bad along 81.  Just drove through it on my way home, but 1/4 mile west it's just moderate rain imby.  Ridiculous.

Cloudy with high dews and no trigger for storms.

BUST, and gross.

Flash flood watches are just a bad omen this year..... the 5 th busted forecast in the last 4 months ......  I love Mount Holly and they have done great forecasting most times,  but when I see a FFW anymore I still water the garden.  Very dissapointed.

Fox5 says the storms in Faquier county won't make to DC. Showers only. I believe them....not. We'll either get hail and downed trees or nothing at all. lol

Latest Hrrr shows the cells west of DC moving northeast as they progress over the next couple hours but current radar looks to be primarily east trajectory so we'll see I guess

This is gonna miss me, isn’t it?

Should at least be raining and thundering there.  No idea what it’ll look like when it gets to me.  Sitting on the front stoop watching the light show is pretty good though.

Really impressive light show, at that. Really loud thunder and some light/moderate rain right now.

Looks like we’ll be on the southern edge of the cell, but it’s better than nothing.

Edit: You might get rocked.

Classic mid/late summer. The woods are alive with critters. It sounds like a jungle. The flashes in the sky from storms to my west makes me want to take a Jebwalk. Hopefully it's a stormy night.

The heaviest rain is headed right at me, but I’ve been fooled before.
