Just spiked to 98. Those of you saying it's not bad out must work in climate controlled metal boxes. It's horrendous out there.

Its relative. If this was the height of it, it would be NBD, just a typically oppressive mid summer day.

Looks like tomorrow will have the worst combo of heat and humidity, and Sunday might be a touch hotter but dews should lower a bit.

No it isnt.  DCA is 6 degrees below the point and click.  Hope the rest of the weekend pans out.  Mowed the lawn and weeded outside and it isn't the end of the world.

DCA’s point and click was 99, right?  Above most guidance.  They’ve been to at least 96 or 97.  Not sure what math makes that 6 degrees.

DCA and IAD: 96

BWI: 97

Should add a few more tomorrow.  Enough for 100?  Will be close.

Bonus ob:  95/81 on the 5 minute report from Minneapolis

That is pretty awful. Probably slightly worse than it will feel here the next couple days.

I predict a max of 96 here the next 2 days, vs. the forecast highs of 98 and 99. Always take the under on extreme heat in the sticks.

Today's forecast high was 97, actual high 93.

Yea I don't see how any of the big three get 100 this weekend.  Unless we jackpot a SW wind with +30 air and no clouds we don't do it.
