Saw some nice cells billowing to my south and east. Must be the storms you guys are getting. Cloudy out this way with a light drizzle currently.

82/74.

Was in Franklin and it poured.  Sons baseball got canceled and crossed the raritan into Piscataway and it was dry. Haha.  Nothing in Branchburg

Southern Ocean County NJ is getting hammered right now. Seeing some flooding reports from that area.

Yeah, I love sitting outdoors on a warm summer evening but the mosquitoes have made that impossible. Think I’ll be getting a citronella plant.

86/80/101. Bayou conditions.

I have 3, they don't do squat. I have to get 5 or 6 citronella candles burning around the patio before it's bearable outside in the evenings.

Incoming! It's rumbling and grumbling and getting dark again.

Can’t buy a drop of rain on the uws or on the south shore.

I finally got a drop or two, .02 in the bucket...could use plenty more where that came from. On the plus side the lawn is slowing down but then the other side is that regular watering of the gardens is now required.

Yep, No substantial rain on the south shore for 15 days now. I'm going to have to water a lot of tree's or they will start showing stress soon.

I have to admit, the severe weather is a bit more then I thought it would be today. Maybe a slight risk for our area wouldn't have been a bad idea.

Have to watch the cells in Hunterdon and in Sussex/Warren for merge potential.

The hunterdon cells seem to be weakening

I was sorta shocked no warnings were issued earlier. Buddy of mine told me a ridiculous storm rolled through the central shore zones earlier.
