Low 40s in north GA this morning (Blairsville hit 43).  My location just west of Atlanta went down to 52.

52 here too....was quite cool.. Little late but Wed the temp was stuck in the low 60s all day thanks to the rain.   After the rain, the view today has been stunning...with crystal blue skies and everything turned green. Sure wish it was like this all summer.

Dropped to 65 this morning. Not too bad for living near the coast. Currently it is a very pleasant 77/50. Sunny and a bit breezy but feels great.

Hot and humid today. Currently 91/74.

Yep, I really noticed the humidity, when I stepped outside this morning.

Picked up 2 inches today in a couple of good storms. One of which had some of the largest raindrops i think i've ever seen. Legit sounded like hail but it wasn't. Gives me around 7 inches the past 10 days.

1.65” overnight. 1.10” in 15 minutes.

I was watching that on radar. It all passed by me to the southeast. Just a trace here. My daughter has been bitching the last two days about having to drive all night. She is a UNC flight medic based in Hillsborough and the weather has grounded both the chopper and their fixed-wing aircraft.

I wonder why the information down at the airport often says this? I know it's automated, but there's no precipitation, storm or otherwise around.

From the local NWS page...

Thunderstorm in Vicinity

86°F

30°C

Ugghhh, I hate summer already. Currently 93/78.

Forgot to add that we got .55" total from 2 storms yesterday.

0.27” . Relatively calm at the house, really cool thunderstorm with 50-60 mph winds at work.

7.19” for the month.
