That said I believe the majority of tornadoes under 1/8th mile wide are EF1 or less and rarely will you see a wedge be an EF0 or EF1 but it does happen sometimes

The early life of the jarrell tornado is definitely an exception that thing was as violent as it gets and probably only 50 yards wide.

It's one of my all time awe inspiring videos to watch.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Wagoner County in northeastern Oklahoma...
  Northwestern Muskogee County in east central Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Okmulgee County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 604 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Morris, moving
  northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 614 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located 3 miles northwest of Owasso, moving northeast at 25 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may 
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes 
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, 
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction 
         is possible.

KOCO 5 is Damon Lane. KOKH 25 isn't bad either but they don't have a helicopter. Both of the above mentioned channels are definitely the calmer of the four news channels in OKC.

While I understand forecasting weather is probably not easy but this weather forming down around burkburnett and Wichita Falls wasn’t even in a risk area for two days. And now it’s got a monster cell. 

 

This goes to show is how weather can humble us
