I'm glad. It was meant to be be tongue in cheek for anyone with a sense of humor! :)

I'm ok with it. It's uncomfortable, but since I had my thyroid issues, the winter cold has been nearly intolerable for me.

I appreciate your perspective...sometimes I'm guilty of assuming that people only dislike cold because they prefer the heat. I'm glad that you're in an environment that is better for your physical well being.

We got hit pretty good yesterday. Radar would be showing nothing and just like that storms would pop up.

First storm was around super time. We got 0.70" in about 10 mins.

Storm # 2 about 2 hours later and got 1.43" of rain.

storm #3 overnight we got 0.42" of rain.

Is today going to be a repeat?

we only had that one downpour around 3 pm that i know of. If something hit over night i didn't hear it. Looking like today around the same time as yesterday.

The next week to 10 days look about normal - maybe a tad cooler at night.

I say that because that buys us another week without the above average heat we saw all July. And we are working toward mid August so a few more weeks and the chance of that heat is gone.

its been weeks since i turned off my air and opened the windows......i'm looking forward to it. so is my wallet.

I'm sure I'll see plenty of jackets and sweatshirts at the game tonight.

Saying that, it's 85 right now. As usual it's warmer than progged.

Low dews,August sun and some down sloping heats us up.  Overnight lows should be closer to forecasted. Cool morning warm afternoon temps just about average. Can't ask for much more this time of year.

The storms pop right overhead. We get 0.02” of rain. 10 miles to the southeast they see 2”+

That sounds a lot like my PA neck of the woods, except in my case they cruise the whole state, fall apart near I-81, then re-fire again and nail the Poconos and the Lehigh Valley.
