I havent seen anyone thrown warning numbers out lol,  Just a range.

Box afd 1 to 3 with a 2 to 4 caveat

Interesting though that the 3
KM NAM shows less of a warm layer than the 12 KM NAM. Perhaps this
might be a result of the higher resolution NAM picking up on the
strong forcing trying to erode that mid level warmth for a
time. The HREF/NAM both do show some probabilities of 1 inch per
hour snowfall

This is why we wait now untiil now casting in these situations,  we toss, we take, as the model turns.....

I feel pretty good. Most of us outside of a black bear den at 2k in the berks 1-3.

Even 00z href has a lot of sleet in CT. I just don’t see a lot of flags to go higher that’s all.

Dumbfounded.  Will shine the snow up for another day. Longest stretch of snow cover since March 18. March is our new winter month

Really looking forward to tomorrow and next week. I plan for a nice snow walk in the morning with fresh snow falling on a good snow pack. Then let the melting begin and I think there’s a shot that I’m prepping my garden by next weekend. That would be awesome tomorrow will be like my final salute to Winter

If sleet is your final salute, the 12z nam salutes you.

Scalping.

Hoping RPM is right. Went colder at 12z and gives like 3" here. But we probably scalp.

I like the way the 3K starts at sleet and then pounds snow for a couple of hrs. Should be a fun 3/4 hrs of frozen. Thinking my 3 streak has a shot

West is best but close to 2" for you. I'd be happy with 2-3 hours of solid moderate snow to wake up to

How much depth do you have? Thinking the garden prep might be a wish

Box map looks pretty good to me... West is best.

Thinking a quick burst to rain here... minimal If any accums.

You’ll get at least an inch.

The garden is in a large open field of many acres. It’s a hayfield. So the depth is lower. Probably 8 to 12 inches yesterday but melting. In the woods as of yesterday we were more like 12 to 16 inches. But a week of this kind of projected weather should leave some bare ground where the garden sets. The garden is in a large open field of many acres. It’s a hayfield. So the depth is lower. You could say that again.
