Recommended Posts

Fastest morning rush drive to Logan ever.  Kudos to the road crews in N.H. and Mass.   lotta snow and could see how pasty and thick and how much as I got closer and closer to Logan

Sick morning posts weenies. Congrats.

5.25” since 1am

13.75” total

13" was a common measurement around the property, which was backed up by the snowboard measurements....mostly dense stuff, pretty tough to shovel, but a great workout. Now the melting begin....32.5°/29° - Newtown, CT

I averaged 10.2".  I was honestly expecting a couple inches less so it's nice to have a positive bust and a double digit storm.  Congrats to the folks out east!

Curious to see what the fake BOS final will be; the FAA reported just over a foot on the field on calls this morning.

That foot that was on the field (My uncle is airport manager there) probably is the truth at the waters edge before any settling. So yes, the 12" amount is probably the truth but will the official books call it? We'll see.

My guess is it'll stay with 9.8" from 7am

About 13" in Eastie (Orient Heights)

That was a brutal cleanup... Temps got above freezing quickly and we started a icy mist that really compacted and weighted the snow down.... 30" snow bower and it still took me 2+ hours to clear the driveway (200 yards)... halfway shot of the driveway...

4.5" of fluff on the board this morning. Not bad. Depth at my stake (in the shade) is 38-39".

It was sunny an hour ago, but now we're cloudy with some light snow grains that aren't showing up on radar. This is probably a weak orographic response on the backside.

Congrats to the SNE crew! This was supposed to be our storm 2-3 days ago, but you took this one right out from under our feet. ;)

Dude, you're nuts!  You need a front load tractor or p/u with a plow for a driveway like that.

8" total.  A decent amount of compaction with the sleet we had.

Still snowing on Casco Bay, although the intensity has let up some. Now 36 degrees. We have until sunset to get this place plowed, etc., because nitetime temps will be in/near single digits and we won't see daytime temps above freezing until sometime Friday. No complaints. Looks like a movie set.

Still waiting on a part. That sucks. I always feel like death after the first shoveling of the season. Right now I feel like I could do another 2 driveways.

Definately a relatively sharp cutoff outside the main 12-16" band in and around the area.

Pretty easy cleanup here. Prob under 0.5” LE.  Not that I measure that

Missed out on the best of those rates this morning. There were areas further east than here over by 495 that missed out and were closer.

Not sure how much was lost from the bucket, but TAN reporting 0.75". My guess is they lost another 0.20 to 0.30".  Stuff was like 8:1 ratios.

That sucks, I thought about that this morning but I can't lift just push thats why I was up all night, easy snowblowing until the rain for 5 minutes which instantly flashed to puking snow. Sad for your bro
