How so? You think more spotty and mainly east of 95?

3km NAM had more of a line sweeping in from the west... HRRR had more of a "discrete storm" picture IMO

Due north of Pamplin City looked interesting for a frame or two.

It did... is it the outer range of the LWX radar that Lexington has so much red and green combined?

Ugh, the bands coming out of NC are looking to set up a train. Along with the significant parameters for severe. We get a taste of Dixie Alley tonight, hopefully without any pain.

I don’t see anything in Lexington personally. The whole area sucks radar coverage wise. CHO needs to have a dual-pol radar.

So Md may have a rough go

I’m no expert but to me current radar looks a lot more like 3k Nam at 0z than the latest HRRR.

Yeah, I was looking at radarscope and had storm relative velocity on and there was a bunch of red and green together... figured it was nothing

Ugh, this looks like it's going to take all night to move out of here. I want to go to bed. :weep:

I agree, but that is the nighttime Dixie Alley taste I was speaking of. Hopefully, uneventful.

Is that a hook near EZF or am I seeing things?

I’m exhausted and probably about to quit for the night but it looks a bit like a hook to me, going back a couple scans looks like it’s trying to develop.

About the middle, right-hand side?

Edit:  The radar I'm looking at just refreshed, and I can see what you're talking about.

I made it to Baltimore!

But am camping out at a hotel overnight instead of driving head first into that line on the way to Harrisburg.
