Hey @North Balti Zen @nw baltimore wx @BaltimoreWxGuy Let's all meet in the northwest corner of the city, lololol How Baltimore gets the tiniest corner here is hilarious!

With that map, I’d be able to light up the kerosene heater, open the garage door, shoot some pool, and throw some darts while giving the keezer a workout.

This is pretty bullish from NWS. 90% chance of 3 inches or more in the 81 corridor.

Probably about right.   It's a typical 4-8" event with more at the higher elevations.   That means 3" and 10" on the bust and boom maps.

The consensus of everything has us both in the jack zone 24 hours out. Chips fall time I guess. Maybe this is our one flush hit this season.

funny how the euro and JB hated this storm for our region...not the euro is the most bullish.

Nah, Owings Mills/Reisterstown is generally one of the better spots if not the best for the immediate closer burbs. I'm from that area. Lived there for 35 years.  Pretty good elevation for only being 10-15 miles outside of the city. Some spots are over 700 ft. Always better to be above the northwest side of the beltway. There can be fairly dramatic differences depending on whether your closer to the beltway on reisterstown rd. or farther north toward the rt.140/30 split.

Yep, I can attest to all of that. Being north of the beltway and west of 83 really helps in a lot of marginal storms, especially above 500 ft. Owings Mills and Reisterstown are generally in the same boat as me, with the latter being slightly better. It's a great climo for someone who doesn't want to be too far from the city.

Anyways, this is looking like a solid event for the northern and northwest burbs. Maybe the highest of the season for some of us if we can break 5".

I think this is a none event for I-95 corr.

But you will basically be able to walk to snow.

I don’t think it’s a non event, well I guess it depends on the definition but I95 around Baltimore I think has a chance for a couple of wet inches mainly on cold surfaces hence the advisory.

I’m still too close to the marginal line for my liking but all in all I can’t hate on potentially 4-6” by Monday morning.
