March 3-4, 2019 Snow/Rain Event

Recommended Posts

Gorgeous outside. What I actually like about these systems is I can go outside with the kids and it feels tolerable....extremely enjoyable. Dont get me wrong I wont balk at a mid Jan 1-foot cold smoke at 5 degrees but for family enjoyment snowman building snowball fights and just tolerability it really doesnt get any better than this. Who says March snows suck?

An impressive 1.17” of water came out of that 2.6” of snow in Ewing... (some was rain and sleet of course, but still a lot)

Now that I got my power back.  7.0".  Too bad it was dark and I couldn't enjoy it.

Does anyone here know where Mt. Holly lists snow reports?

Go to the PHL local page, and in the icons there's a "text products". After you pick that, in the second grouping click on "public information statements".

Glad you got your power back - we lost ours for a couple of hours last night which wasn't to bad.

1 inch in Villanova, despite the WSW calling for 5 to 8 inches. Talk about a bust! Ffs

The report was at 6pm yesterday though.

Was it all rain after that?

Here's the snow pile pic from Monday afternoon. March sun already working on the snow, even yesterday with the colder temps. Shaded areas are solid, but now most sunny areas are fairly snow free. This pile does have a chance to make it to close to the end of the month, it would seem, since we're not looking at too many days in the 50's just yet.

I'd like to see this pile in a good year. Hopefully next year!

Hey! Congratulations! I'm outside and don't feel like googling Buckingham, so where is that?

Hey Kamu!

Sorry don’t visit/post much in this forum anymore...Buckingham (Bucks County) is up near Peddlers Village/New Hope.

The environs feel like New England, so short of moving there we settled on Buckingham!

Hope all’s well!
