Piece of cake.  Full sun out here.  50F.

Feels like a furnace outside.

lol, i'm jealous.  50s sounds great.  given that we essentially have a bermuda high right now with the snow saver moving offshore, it's gonna be sloppy outside today.

Measured over .20" ice accretion this morning.

i had about the same, was just a light rain all evening.

lots of melting when we finally left the house this morning. the kiddo went out to play and i told her not to go under any trees has it was none stop snow and ice falling from branches to the glacier below.

So many temp forecasts are going to bust.  Yesterday NBC4 and News Channel 8 were giddy about spiking into the low 50s today. For that to verify we're going to have to get to full sun soon.

which forecasts have busted so far?  My high temp at work in Elkridge was 51 and we are at 53 right now.  you're talking busting high, right?  are you even a met?

PWSs all arond the area are showing temps into the 50s. Sun poked through, and I'll guess temps went up since the last hourly obs because of that.

This will probably look like S when I paste it in, but...anyone reporting temps in the 50s are fools.

The sound of the water dripping off the trees onto the fresh aka mushy snowpack sounded like a downpour.  Eerie with the bright sunshine.  We did not breach 32 until after 830 here.  Fortunately the precip shut down as if it rained all night there would have been tremendous tree damage.
