February 10-12, 2019 Storm

It’s pouring snow in Clarksburg at 29.8°F. Looks like the 30dBZ returns are dragging down some decent cold. Ground is completely snow covered.

I’ll rely on @Ka60 for the total as I don’t fly in until tomorrow morning. Here’s the backyard though...:

the rates vs precip type was mentioned in the forecasts.  since we're clearly a precip town now, it wouldn't surprise me if wave 1 overperforms.

Light snow. Good flake size already .Temp drop 0.8 since onset so some evap, 33.8F.  Now the battle of air masses where rain wins out but how long to do so.

Got about 45 minutes of SN ... most recent measurement is around 0.5" on elevated surfaces. Now its over to a SN/IP mix. Still pretty heavy and more than I expected.
