Have been sitting at 35.2 degrees for the past 2 hours and haven't budged.  I want to stay optimistic, but it's pretty tough given all the "warm" data out there.  Honestly, even if I just hit 3" I'll be happy.  Just hope it doesn't get washed away before the plunge arrives.

Edit:  Just took note that I've had consistent south-easterly winds all morning which have been slowly creeping up in speed.  Not a good direction for CAD.  On the other hand my dew point has slowly been falling as well here, down to 27 at the moment.

Also as mag alluded to we dry slot quickly tonight which will hopefully cut down on the rain.  Ain't nobody got time for rain.

that will be my win as well.  snow"pack" retention...

just want it to look a little bit more like winter.

ughh

The surface low is over western TN as of mid morning. It will
track toward SWRN PA by late evening before redeveloping
further east somewhere over the Mid Atlantic states anywhere
from SERN PA to the northern DelMarva. This presents precip type
issues possibly as far north as a swath from Clearfield to
Tioga counties by the wee hours of Sunday morning. The 00Z HREF
was colder only bringing the wintry mix as far north as Central
Cambria ENE to Montour and Columbia counties. Obviously the
exact placement of this transition zone will be all important in
determine final snow/ice totals. We will wait for the 12Z model
suite to tweak totals one way or another.

Hoping the front end does well.

Some 12z ticked snow line back south a bit.

Every little bit helps when you dont have much to work with.....lol

Yes, the 12z GFS & Canadian both ticked south & east with better snow totals.

For Harrisburg, the GFS & Canadian give about 2 more inches of snow over the amounts that their previous runs showed.

Woo hoo….snow grains have commenced here with a tiny accumulation on the board...but it's also melting with the temp only down to 34.7 so far.

LSV wise I think you are in the best position.  Both north and west.  If you get the rates you may be the jackpot today.  I think I over did it on my calls for western pa but my 2 to 4 for you might not be enough!
