This bad in our area, never got above 0. I dont know how much ice we have i havent measured but its gotta be over .5.

Lots of ppl without power and its only going to get worse with the temps falling and winds increasing tonight.

Yeah, I didn't measure, but it's pretty substantial. I just took a Darwin Award walk around the neighborhood. Have a line down across the road at the bottom of my street, two neighboring blocks have branches blocking most of the road, neighbor has a huge pine down across his back yard, multiple branches hanging across power lines. Interestingly, the roads are not too slick. When the wind kicks in, it will get really ugly.

If you have snow/sleet totals please send them my way, im curious to make a map today.

Checking the PNS reports it looks like most ended up in the 2-5" range with 1-2 on the shore, a few 6" amounts in N Hfd county. Doesn't look like litchfield did well at all i only see a 2" and 3" report there.

2.8

Between snow and sleet ~7.5" Hard to tell because of wind but seems a reasonable average. Will check reports for surrounding areas. I'm usually pretty well in agreement with Holden, West Boyslton, Sterling and elevated parts of Shrewsbury. Sleet added at least an inch to total in spite of packing down what we have.

Regardless of total. It looks and feels like winter. We've had some decent "feels like winter" days, but hasn't looked much like it since the mid November event. And who knows whats ahead. Looks like the pattern isn't going to be miserable the next few weeks in spite of a little rain later this week.
