WVclimo
Gusty NW winds have reached Rt. 219 from Johnstown, PA down to Elkins, WV. Typically that would mean wind hits here around 10:00 a.m. and DC/Baltimore by noon.
mappy
1.45" rain. Had a brief period of snow, then a sleet snow mix, before the eventual flip to rain, last night. Snowed enough to put a fresh coating down. 43 now

nw baltimore wx
@WEATHER53 It's earlier than you called but currently 18 in Pitt and 60 in Norfolk. My snow was pretty much destroyed last night. Still a little in the backyard that's shaded by the house, but mostly just the a few random piles.

Eskimo Joe
Theres usually one colossal forecast bust for the worse every winter. This seems to be it. From DCA to Boston this one was a total joke. 1

SilentTalkie
In Western Albemarle, the temperature jumped from 35 to 48 between 7am to 8am. Wind has started to pick up from the north with a couple gusts. Snow cover held on to a couple of the hills overnight, so hoping they can make it through the next few hours to keep things scenic into next week. nj2va
I was stuck at 32 all night. Front pushed through just after 6am. I’m down to 16 degrees with light snow. My anemometer is frozen so I’m not registering wind gusts right now. Hoping I don’t have a tree fall on the house with all this wind.
