That really is climo out here for these type of events when its cold enough. But I dont know how cold this CAD is really going to be. As for here...this is an easy one to let go, pattern was never right. I do think the NW fringes of our forum get a little bit of snow 1-2" on the front side and then some ice before the deluge. For the rest...better times are ahead. A strong area of low pressure will approach the region from the Tennessee Valley on Saturday. I see how the isobars of the low show northeast move but then by western Kentucky the isobars show the latitude gain would stop. We may not get much frozen out of this deal but it's going to feel like deep winter late Sunday through all of Monday. ETA: Up to 50mph gusts in NE MD on Monday.
