1" in N Arlington, but road just wet as salt has had time to work with the constant lulls. Expecting another 10-12".

Fixed.

Believe it was Eskimo Joe who said these exact comments would be filtering in..

Show's just getting started folks, the juice is yet to get loose

I did not say that. That was either Bob or Randy.  Alexandria and southern Fairfax County have been stuck in a series of lulls all evening.

I'm right off kemp mill road and my little street is mostly wet.

Didn't realize there were so many of us in close proximity. I'm near N Belgrade/Hillsboro and measured 1" at around 7:15, roads and sidewalks around me were covered at that point.

Ugh dreaded sleet pellets pinging off the window. Hoping since we are in a little lull rates will overcome that bs. Was dumping when the first band moved through.

Just finished my post game Jeb Walk. Amazing out. Good size dendrites coming down at a nice clip. 1.5 inches on the ground. The intensity has really picked up over the past 30 minutes. The models that had us getting very light snow have already busted. This is a legit winter storm.

CHO really doesn’t respond to radar returns. It’s inexplicable.

I know, right? Been that way since I've lived here for ten years. Not sure ifts the blue ridge messing with it or what

8pm update:  1.75"

Looks like its snowing harder than that, maybe ratios not that great?  Looking at it fall , expecting to pile up faster.   Getting ready to go dark for a while during the game. Good luck and enjoy, everyone.

Go Cowboys!!

I am def grateful regardless. I really do think the warm layer is super shallow so anything that dumps should have it switch over to snow at least for a little. Guess we’ll see here. Have fun up that way!
