Great second pic of your son.  The awe he must feel with what today has in store for him....   I'm nearly 60 years old and still feel the same.  Only thing that changes is the way we have fun.  Can't wait to get out in my Kubota and do the neighborhood.  Typically plow our 450' driveway, 4 more adjacent to us that are longer, about 20 other driveways, a 1/4 mile of street and a mile or so of sidewalk along Lawyers road to Vienna.  Hope your little man has a blast today!

M3.0" Reisterstown...not snowing at all.  Looking like a bust up here unless things turn around quick.

Bust? 3 inches plus it’s supposed to continue most of the day. You’ll most likely pick up an additional 2-3 which seems right in line with most forecasts around the Reisterstown area.

And now the radar is looking much healthier.  Let's see what happens as those bands start stacking up against the wall.

Whoa I just checked. It suddenly looks very juicy south of I-70. Let's hope some of that stuff makes it up north.

Sometime after 1-2 am sleet mixed with or it all changed to sleet. Had 0.9 on board, storm total 4.4 here. Sleet knocked the amount on the ground down to 3.5 this am. Cloudy and foggy here, not much on precip, maybe a little snizzle. 0.56 liquid, so that works out to 7.8-1 ratio of what has fallen. Temp still 28.6, less than 3 degree swing over 24 hours. Off to update snow totals......

For us north of 70, it's nice to see some radar returns popping up to the west.  I don't much care about totals at this point, but I'd like to see it snow throughout the day and into the evening.  Nothing better to me than snow falling as day goes to night.

I would very much like another inch to get to 5, all things being equal. I think we can do that.

Most guidance has today mainly south of us northerners...nws upped us to 4-6 yesterday which right now looks like a very minor bust. We will see. But he is negative so he will make the 1” bust into a big deal.

Still it’s slightly a bummer to be somewhat left out.  My bar always seems to be 4”. That feels like a significant snow to me. Didn’t make it this time. Banding stayed about 5 miles south all night.

Unfortunately I think our accumulating snow is done out this way. Would love to squeeze out another inch or so in the daylight.

Yea...you are probably right.  I havent quite given up on 1-2"....will be interesting to see.  I'm sure the radar will be frustrating to watch..
