The snow line is continuing to drop south in Upstate SC. Incredible.

May be going back north now. I am back to rain and sleet. No snow right now.

Zero precip in Mooresville. Nothing.

Right now there's a heavy band moving through Gastonia heading our way. Should reach us in the next 30 minutes or so. We should see precipitation with that. If not, I'm not sure what's going on above our heads.

Seeing lots of accumulation on roads in Lenoir now. Temp dropped from 35-32 over the last hour, and snowfall went from zilch to 1" of the heavy wet stuff in the same time period.

It's very odd.  Nothing for me either.  I jinxed Mooresville when I moved up here.  Sorry about that.

And 3 minutes after I sent that, I have snowflakes reaching the ground at my place.

I don't think I've ever used the term, "ripping fatties", but it's doing that south of uptown near Park Road Shopping Center. Anyone want to venture a guess how many hours of this we have???

Flurries on the west side of Mooresville

Nothing downtown yet.  lol... I know it's coming.  This agonizing wait better keep the warm nose away later!
