31.9F  Light snow has begun.  Interesting weather day.  Light snow this morning went to snow grains for most of the day.  Vis around 1/2 mile with moderate snow grains.  Lots of wind with blowing snow.  Ended with 2" of dense snow by early PM.  Snow grains ended followed by some sleet showers then plain rainshowers late PM.  Temp rose to 32.4F at 4pm then fell off to below freezing early evening.  Light precip started back up as sleet then over to light snow.

82" on the season

It has been snowing big fat flakes here for a while but only a few tenths of slushy accumulations here at 750ft.

A mountain spy sent me a text that a quick couple inches of snow has fallen up there, and he lives at 1800ft on the side of Spruce.

Wonder what the over/under is on the value of that property

1800’ side of Spruce. Would that be just below the Golf course ?

Had 0.6" sometime overnight to cap off a kitchen sink storm.  Started at 7 AM yesterday with nice aggregates, which soon became tiny flakes with slow accumulation, and were getting more and more rimed by early afternoon.  At 4 PM we had an IP/SN mix, fairly heavy, then a bit of ZR about 7 PM followed by 1/2" graupel, with precip stopped when I measured at 9 - 3.3" then with 0.77" LE.  The overnight stuff was 10:1, for 3.9/0.83 total thru this morning.  Stuff is like walking in dry beach sand, very dense and always trying to shift one's feet sideways.

It's actually up the road from the golf course... take that road up past the Sensation Quad base.  It's an old house, built a while ago and the guy that lives there isn't rich by any means.  Place is small but he can ski right out to the Sterling trail through the woods ;).

Looks like Mansfield grabbed about a half a foot with the squalls and yesterday's precip.

The question is how much will Pickles pay for it though.

In Burlington now running some errands and man it's a different world over here.  Coming from constant -SN to even moderate snow at times in Stowe with a couple feet on the ground to almost breaks of sunshine and patches of grass in the Champlain Valley... the biggest difference is within like two miles of JSpin'a location on 89.  Big snowpack and then you drop to 300ft in the Bolton Flats and it seems like half the snow vanishes in minutes.

Nasty day here.  Ontario bands reaching all the way to SVT along with a little orographic help resulting  in on and off white out throught the day.  No idea how much has fallen with the winds, its just zipping along  right on top the the glacier into the woods.....or maybe out into outer space..lol.
