Coincidence? I think not.

Sorry to hear you were sick but glad to hear you are on the mend. Keep yourself healthy, after all you don't want to be bed ridden for the coming 100+ inches for us this winter.

100?  Pfft lame. I did 101" in 2010. It's 120 or bust this year!!!

I do wonder what our max potential here is. I didn't think 100 was even realistically possible but we didn't even actually max out in 2010. A couple threats just missed.

This is the text of the WSW in NE GA...quite the gradient!

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Most of the
precipitation will be snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 17
inches are expected, with accumulations increasing from south
to north and as elevation increases. Ice accumulations of around
a tenth of an inch are also expected.

Thanks. I am getting better. Breathing is starting to feel normal again finally. Just need to get my strength back. Hopefully by the time our big xmas snowstorm hits I will be fully recovered and ready to build snow forts with my son.

I wasn't going to say anything but I do hope everyone that puts time into this knows how much it means to me and others. Thank you.

I appreciate the kind words, psu.  Seeing that you've been dealing with something far worse than the stuff that happens here puts it all in perspective.  I'm very glad that you are doing better and the types of illnesses that are out there are scary and no joke. Thank the snow gods that docs and nurses were able to get you back on the mend.  We need those giant, massive paragraph posts about fringing more than you realize.

Hang in there and get better.  I speak for mappy as well that we only wish you a full recovery.  What we mods do to try and keep this place enjoyable is nothing compared to the seriousness of life and health.  I'm glad that this place was able to help in the healing.  Makes it worth it.  If i can bring one smile to someone each day I consider it a good day regardless what my day is actually like.

Awkward fist bump and bro hug.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, really... love all you guys!!!  I am doing a LOT better. Not 100% yet but finally well on my way.

But this wasn't meant to be about me.  The mods and admins do a great and often thankless job making this place possible and we all get so much out of it. Today one of them had to put up with some crap from an idiot and just wanted to make sure they know the vast majority of us appreciate what they do and that it does make a difference.

Thx for sharing. So glad you are on the mend. I don't post much because I'm busy reading your posts - they help me to understand what's happening and why. And thx to the rest of the snow-loving crew. Your knowledge is terrific, and I love the drama and the scant few victories we all enjoy.

Well, I'm back in Arlington now, so I'm sure the storm is going to move just north enough to slam Charlottesville. Enjoy down there!

It's a really hard forecast down there. NAMs and Canadian show 8"+, GFS shows 0", FV3 shows 3", EURO shows 2".

Sounds easy to me 0-8". Boom

I was kind of subtly referencing that from yesterday. They went way out on a limb with that one!
