Yeah it's become a dendrite-dryslot CJ now with that little midlevel banding taking shape.

 

It was somewhat exciting earlier when the low level forcing was good over us and I had some good snow for a little while, but eventually the midlevel dry air kind of capped the ability to rip consistently and the competing forces were keeping it disjointed just enough.

At least I nailed this forecast....shake off the rust from the CT bust.

Close to an inch on winter hill....but then I took the MA pike back east and when driving south on 290, the snow completely disappeared on the southern side of ORH. Zero accumulation there. Basically the city was cut in half. I've seen that happen before in marginal events.
