Coldtober model and pattern disco

Doesn't matter how warm that pattern looks..  'Keep rollin' top-heavy high pressure over SE Canada, heights can balloon to a quasar if they want ...the atmosphere ends up right at normal.

Tennessee Valley?  ...sure, hot as holy hell (relative to season) and probably historic and all that down in the Mason Dixie...

That all said ... yeah, I think it's possible if not plausible that the models are over doing the lower tropospheric jam up under the rim of the ridge just the same.  We'll have to see if/when that maintains crossing inside of D5.. The runs tend to over amp (even slightly matters here..) trough depth/wave spaces as they 'skip off the pond' at this sort of time range and just a little relaxation in that regard would concomitantly back off on confluence and less high ...blah blah more SW flow ... perhaps better fitting of that total appeal, would transpire.

But, I've seen tall heights and ridges with temps 60 F at the bottom before so I'm not saying the over-top look would prevail either... 50/50
