Low of 70 in October has happened several times in Chicago. The October record is 71 degrees. I think that one will be tough to match but we'll see. It is a fairly moist airmass. Old record was 126 days in 2007. -Yesterday was day #96 of the year with a low temperature of 65F or above. Today will likely be #97. Old record was 80 days in 1881.
