NYC (park) couldnt do it this go around the coolest station each day.  MMU hit 90 today.  Clouds and smoke surely limited maxes these past few days.  Tomorrow looks cloudy but 4th 90 in a row for some is possible with enough breaks of sun.  25/26 - 31st (and beyond)  are looking hot/humid..

I was just thinking earlier that this must be like your version of Feb '15 for SNE winter people, lol.

Lol I was thinking the same thing, I just hope this persists into September, much like the cold lingered through Mar 2015.

87/77.

This jungle humidity is relentless, my average max dew point this month is 76.4°. It’s a good thing I enjoy this kind of weather.

I'm running about the same, avg high dew point for Aug of 75. Everyday has a had a 70+ dew at some point.  10 of which 75+

This evening ever since a t storm passed by (brunt of it to the N&W) dew point has spiked, as if it wasn't humid already

Didn't get much in the way of cloud to ground lightning photos. 99 percent was cloud to cloud. Maybe that baby cell on the backend will give me something to take home.

I actually got my best lightning shots of the year tonight around 9 pm. I chased the next line around for a couple hours but never found a clearing in the low clouds.

Now the power's out so that's a bummer...

This second line is producing one heck of a light show here. More frequent then the first round

I am getting great shots on the back end and staying pretty dry from southwest Brooklyn.
