Well this month has been one wet month around here. I have recorded 13" inches of rain this month with most of it coming in the last 2 weeks. This is by far the wettest month i've recorded so far. I have feeling at least where I am it might be the wettest August ever. All the  rivers are at least bankfull stage with some going higher than 2008. The Kickapoo, Upper Baraboo, and the Yahara seem to be the wort affected so far. Around here the Crawfish is at it's stage since 2008. And the rain looks like it's going to keep coming for at least the next week. We really need to dry out in Southern Wisconsin.

August finished +3.5 F at Toledo and rainfall was 4.82", Thankfully, the minor drought in NW Ohio is mainly over. +3.5 F for a summer month is quite a lot. There were 5 days above 90 degrees, which is not terribly unusual. Days that were a couple of degrees above normal included almost the whole month..
