Days like today will be among the coolest in the next several weeks.

Euro has a decent high move in midweek with sub 10C 850s up here.

Well to be fair July warm is a given but above normal isn’t.

I doubt we put up departures like we had this past week though.  I would not be shocked to see the rest of the month being +3 to +5

After working out in the heat 4 days straight, I'm glad for the break. Thursday night I went to bed and woke up at 2am with leg cramps in both legs. I take magnesium and do well drinking water, but after 4 days in a row of dewpoints in the mid to upper 70s I guess my electrolytes were out of whack...need more salt, or I need to cut my water with gatorade...ya, fun times

Felt great this morning at 6am... snuck down to 49F.

Warming up quickly to mid-70s already.

25F rise in a few hours, should get to mid-80s at least.

That’s pretty desert like there. An almost 40 degree jump is crazy lol

heh... It's 85/64 ... if we pop 90...we recede from a top 10 day of the year for me anyway - too hot. In fact, 88/64 is pushing it.

Yeah locally here in the mountain valley ASOS a 40-degree diurnal change isn't all that impressive.  They can happen in any dry air mass.  Even in the winter we can be -20F in the morning and 20F in the afternoon.

The real big ones are usually after dry weather in March/April or Sept/Oct...a great radiational cooling night followed by compressional warming during the day from winds moving down the mountain slopes and heating the valley.  That's when we see the 45-50F type ranges.  A hard freeze followed by 70F in the afternoon type stuff.

Must suck to live there.   Only 82F here.

Tolland stations in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Torch loses its meaning to me after the last stretch, lol.

These are my BMs for TAN.  Low 90s is hot, mid 90s is a torch and anything below 90 is normal summer.
