July Doldrums - Summer in full effect Pattern and Model Discussion

Temps are still climbing in C NH as drier air tries to mix in. Mid 70s dews here, but LCI is down to 69F and 1P1 is 58F. Hopefully they creep down here soon...need a mini break.

It's weird how 87/62 almost feels refreshing after two days of 92/75 up here.

Lower dews are 25 miles to your north.  Dew was 73F at 4pm and is falling steadily to 66F now.  I can feel the difference, so much more comfortable.

Amazingly true.  Past 2 hours from 73F to 66F and it feels so refreshing.  We only usually run the 2 AC's a few afternoons each summer but they have been going non stop the past several days.  Maybe we can shut em down tonight and open windows.

The past two winters there were good...though they can't hold a candle to the 2000-2001s and 2007-2008s.

Truth.
Though 07-8 and 08-9 were the nickel and dime paloozas that left me really missing blockbuster storms.

Looking out off my deck.. Have promising tcu to north and northeast. Need it to pop in next few minutes or it's just another hot and humid day. Can see bubbling top off cell over harbor.

Tcu really bubbling now nw of town. Can see through a break in low level clouds. Base looks dry. Could easily see this capped off

Saw they had Lahiff from WFO BTV on The Weather Channel discussing the heat records up this way...mainly the new all-time highest minimum temperature.

The news around here has also been all over the Mount Mansfield all-time max record too.

Memorable heat stretch.
