Never fails, EJ poor mouths and then it pours walls of rain two hours later. Buckets of rain downtown Balt City.

Looks like Charles Town and Baltimore City win.  The rest of the area is pretty quiet on the radar.

Wore my bean boots b/c I thought we were going to be the bullseye today. Actually, had a some moderate rain when I left this am. That lasted for about 15 mins. After that...nada!

The skies look like a hurricane is offshore but we're outside of the impact zone. And really muggy. Just clouds moving fast and some openings of blue skies. Sun peeked through a few times.

I don't live exactly in Dover, DE. Just a reference point to the nearest city. The outskirts.

Should be a nice sun and clouds mixed day tomorrow. I'll get a nice view of the shellacking of rain out west.

Well if tonight is anything like last night it could be interesting.  I was impressed by the late night rounds (2) of thunderstorms that developed around midnight and persisted to near 2am.  Not only was the rainfall prolific (2.5" in my gauge in the morning) but there was some deep loud thunder and sharp lightning as the storms were rolling through.

Cold front convection can't do it, historic coastal storms can't do it, massive upper level lows can't do it, massive tropical moisture plumes of 75f dews and 2.5" PWS values can't do it, so I don't know what's left that could produce anything more than drizzle here.

Saddest excuse of a FFW I have seen.  The radar looks like complete garbage for me.

lol you are in the valley out there dude. Relatively low elevation and rain shadow and stuff. Climo there is a bit drier than most other places in the general area. I feel for ya, but its kinda like me complaining about getting dry slotted or my snow changing to sleet or rain in winter nor'easters. Happens pretty often, but thats climo here on the coastal plain at 55 ft above sea level.

I didn't take a direct hit from this most recent wave, but now over 8" here. Fortunately these are all fast movers.

I'd imagine I had well under half an inch in the rain gauge today (hadn't even bothered to check) but I'm making up for it in a hurry. It's been dumping for almost a half hour now.
