Hurricane Agnes Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Ended up with 0.27" of rain yesterday from the scattered showers, not long after I had already pulled out the hose and watered earlier. Was trying to help everything get through the weekend and early next week prog of 90s. High ended up being 89 yesterday and currently 79, mostly cloudy, and steamy. Picked up 0.21" so far at post time (below what I got yesterday). Hearing a few lazy claps of thunder here and there. Temp down to 74 and not as steamy out. When I was coming back from a store yesterday, I saw someone's front yard covered with large mushrooms. ETA getting >2"/hr rates. Up to 0.64" as of edit time. Lol I wonder if they're edible. Probably not. There have been a few showers here passing through or nearby, mostly glancing blows. 0.63" so far for the day. High was 86 yesterday and currently overcast and 74. May only get fringed with the trough moving through as it looks to be breaking up on its southern flank as it moves NE, so not sure how much measurable will make it to the ground here.
