Non-diurnal temp increase happened overnight and this morning, the current temp is 71 and overcast with mist and fog. Picked up 0.28" since midnight for a 2-day event total (at post time) of 1.13". I've been mowing since the grass dried out with the sun, watching some cumulus clouds stack up quite nicely....mainly misses here so far, although did have a few large rain drops a couple of times. Based on the way the jet stream is supposed to set up, it may be like this the rest of the week... with GOM moisture funneling up the east coast and self-destruct sun. No lightning/thunder...just partly sunny one minutes then total downpour the next w/big-ass raindrops. Neither was enough to tip the bucket but both were heavy enough to wet the sidewalk. Definitely Florida weather! Currently 78 and mostly cloudy with lots of low clouds on the move out of the S.
