Quick peek at euro temps and appears to have backed off on highs for Mon/ Tues. A smidge . Shows low 90s for the cities at best .  Which will still feel  plenty hot. Tuesday looks to now be possibly the hotter and more humid of the 2 .

Can’t help but think it bodes well for the future weeks when the models back off of big heat instead of build towards it.

Here we go again possibly with a stalled boundary sitting over us for possible days..

Changed Discussion --

Hot again on Tue with temps in the mid 90s and heat indices around 100F. A cold front will begin to drop south into the area late Tuesday and help spark scattered convection. The front will then stall and remain across the area during the middle and second half of the week keeping the risk of daily showers and t-storms.

-- End Changed Discussion --

That is the one pattern that could mess up my parents' annual pool party/reunion in Calvert next Sunday -- not liking this part of the disco:

However the ECMWF and its ensemble mean has a wetter solution by
keeping the front stalled through Sunday with waves of low
pressure tracking through it.
