As luck would have it, the big tv my parents gave us when we moved out crapped the bed a few days ago.

Any suggestions on a new one? We’ve been looking at this one, but wanted to get some opinions.

That’s the one we got. We like it...especially for the price.

Cnet gives the brand good reviews and you can’t go wrong for the price.

Look for Open Box items from Best Buy,  You can score some great deals with them.

Definitely a fall appeal today.  Was in the 60s at the base of the ski resort all day with stiff NW breeze at times.

Could tell it had that autumn pattern of rounds and rounds of brief moderate showers igniting over the Spine.

Much more cold season looking radar and feel to the day.  Squally.

So true!  I remember being annoyed during 1969-70, 1970-71, many others because we weren’t getting 3 KUs per winter...lol.  I was young then and like most folks in their 20s not patient.  9 inches with taint was a loss.  Heck, 14 inches with rain on top was.  But now I appreciate those systems greatly!

Having grown up in New London (CT, not NH), seeing flakes of any ilk was win to say nothing about the joy of a system that could drop 4" of snow before the inevitable change-over.

in two days ... I'm curious what the NH/North American snow products look like after this guy's done spinnin' up in Canada...  It's marginal on that cold side, and that looks may have a lot of elevated warm/TROWEL ... but it's close ...

Snowcover maps starting early this year.
