MONDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northeast New Jersey and
  southeast New York, including the following areas, in northeast
  New Jersey, Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Union, Hudson. In southeast
  New York, Orange and Rockland.

* From midnight EDT tonight through Monday afternoon

* Flooding of smaller rivers and streams is possible along with
  urban and poor drainage flooding.

* Rain could be heavy at times late tonight and Monday morning,
  and over two inches of rain is possible before it tapers off
  during the afternoon Monday.
