Didn't even realize it started snowing again.  Just heard the thunder crack and looked outside it is dumping right now!  Look at that little cell!

Got totally blitzed here. Snowed at probably 2” an hour for about 5-10 min. That was sick. Wish it could have lasted longer but for April today has been so awesome from a snow standpoint.

Looks like a very strong temperature gradient setting up over upstate NY over the weekend. Binghamton could be 70 while Massena is below freezing!

What are the chances of Binghamton recording 70F? I believe if the front moves south even a bit we will miss out on the warmth

Feel bad for Rochester out west. That lake is a buzzkill

With another 1.1” this morning on the snowboard that puts me at a little over 4” in the last 4-5 days. Obviously not a ton but seems like for 5-6 straight days we had at least a half inch to an inch of snow fall even though it’s always gone in the blink of an eye as soon as the sun hits it. Not bad for mid April. Now bring on the 60s this weekend !

We'll be lucky to get out of the 40s this weekend looks like!

News Channel 9:

"The newest data as of Tuesday night is suggesting colder air winning out this weekend, especially come Sunday across CNY. A strong Canadian area of cold high pressure looks like it could very well be strong enough to keep the colder air over us and prevent the spring warmth from getting into CNY and much of the Northeast.

If this in fact happens, temperatures could very well be only in the 30s and 40s across the region with a gusty, chilly east-northeast wind, some rain and POSSIBLY even an icy mix and/or snow near and especially north of Syracuse on Sunday. There still is some uncertainty regarding this part of the forecast so be sure to stay tuned for updates this week"

Looks like a nasty winter storm on nam model. Ice sleet. And alot of it. Then flooding rain to wet snow

Sure looks like there could be a lot of ice from Buffalo north verbatim on the NAM surface temps around 30 with .5 - 1” QPF. Let’s hope that doesn’t verify Saturday night or there could be quite a few issues. Crazy for mid April.
